Five Things To Remember On June 5

1. Bishop Richard Pates wrote an op-ed for WashingtonPost On-line today about Drones titled, "Drones aren’t the murky moral subject we pretend they are."

2. Aware that so much of the culture is disposable Pope Francis said today we should counter the culture of waste.

3. He kept that environmental theme by tweeting, "Care of creation is not just something God spoke of at the dawn of history: he entrusts it to each of us as part of his plan."

4.In case you missed it yesterday, USCCB President Cardinal Timothy Dolan, of New York, joined with other international Catholic conference leaders from Group of 8 (G8) Nations to urge national leaders to care for the poor and address fair trade.

5. God loves you.
