Five Things To Remember On June 6

1. Two weeks from today the Fortnight for Freedom will begin with a Mass in Baltimore. Follow along as people from across the country join our Facebook event page.

2. Don Clemmer noticed a mind meld happening when Bishop Richard Pates wrote a letter to government officials urging a discussion on drones the same day the new Star Trek was released. See how Star Trek Into Darkness, drones and Catholic theology intersect.

3. Next month, World Youth Day will take place in Rio. There are lots of ways pilgrims can make their preparations a little smoother, especially on our WYD page.

4. The Catholic Church has been outspoken on aiding refugees and that voice intensified today. A new document says, "Every person is priceless, human beings are worth more than things, and the gauge of the values any institution holds is whether it threatens or enhances the life and dignity of the human person."

5. God loves you.
