Five Things To Remember On Aug. 9

1. Can you imagine being in the middle of the work day and all of the sudden Pope Francis drops on by to say hello?  That's what happened today.

2. The Knights of Columbus honored Monsignor Robert Weiss, pastor of St. Rose of Lima parish in Newtown, CT with an inaugural Caritas Award. Monsignor became known nationally as a compassionate face for so many in the wake of the shooting tragedy.

3. Many people wondered what would be the aftermath of the pope's first World Youth Day experience. It turns out, young people are already taking his challenging words to the streets.

4. Bishop Richard Malone of the Diocese of Buffalo takes to the Internet every week with a quick video reflection. He does a great job explaining the faith for the modern age. He's one of several U.S. bishops using multimedia to speak to people around the globe.

5. God loves you.
