is this weekend. CCHD is the bishops’ domestic anti-poverty program. It funds
programs in urban, rural, and suburban settings that lift people out of
poverty.

In the recent election, there was a stronger vote for
defense of marriage in Maine, Minnesota, Maryland and Washington State than for
the GOP slate. Looks like defense of marriage is a bi-partisan issue.

Voters in Massachusetts voted down a physician-assisted
initiative. There’s a victory for life and something the Bay State can bay
about.
