Five Things To Remember On May 7

1. May is the month of Mary and Sister Mary Ann Walsh and our Facebook followers recently shared their favorite Marian titles.

2. Did you ever think a pope would use the phrase, "Mr and Mrs. Whiner" in your life? If you haven't read Don Clemmer's blog about Pope Francis' "unmistakable" voice, it's a must. He highlights everything the new pontifex is doing on social media. The pope continues to tweet each day. Today, he said: "Do not be content to live a mediocre Christian life: walk with determination along the path of holiness."

3. Half of all proceeds from this coming weekend's Collection for the Catholic Communications Campaign stays in dioceses to fund local projects such as televised Masses. The other half goes to international projects.

4. Young Americans are just two months away from World Youth Day in Brazil. Cardinal Donald Wuerl of the Archdiocese of Washington celebrated Mass with D.C. pilgrims, telling them they are witnesses to the faith. Pope Francis' schedule in Brazil was released today as well. It will be his only international trip this year.

5. God loves you.
